Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Associate Neurology Account Manager or Neurology Account Manager to join a dynamic sales organization in the Philadelphia area. The role reports to the Neuroscience District Sales Manager and focuses on exceeding goals by delivering value through differentiated products and services.

Responsibilities include executing in-territory promotion, collaborating with the District Sales Manager, and optimizing local market performance.

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving history.
• Self-Starter, Goal and Results driven with hunter mentality.
• Willing to travel (overnights may be required).
• Must reside within territory geography.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment with sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with District Sales Manager on day-to-day strategy and product promotion.
• Analyze local market and monitor performance to optimize product use.
• Maintain up-to-date product, disease, and market reimbursement knowledge.
• Manage budgets, travel time, and resource allocation within territory.
• Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills.
• Identify and leverage advocacy channels.
• Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems.
• Fulfill reporting requirements and maintain compliance with laws and policies.
