Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals seeks an Associate Neurology Account Manager or Neurology Account Manager to join its high-performance sales team in the New Orleans area. Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment with sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy.
• Analyze local market and monitor performance to maximize product use in territory.
• Maintain knowledge of product, disease areas, and market reimbursement.
• Determine and monitor resource allocation within territory.
• Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills.
• Identify and leverage advocacy channels.
• Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
• Manage travel and promotional budgets.
• Complete monitoring and reporting including expenses and calls.
