Job summary

Vanda Pharmaceuticals in the United States seeks an Associate Neurology Account Manager or Neurology Account Manager to join a high-performance sales team and help improve patients' lives by promoting our novel therapies. The role reports to the Neuroscience District Sales Manager and focuses on delivering value through differentiated products and services.

Qualifications

• BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving history.
• Self-Starter, Goal and Results driven – proven track record of above average results.

Responsibilities

• Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
• Frequent collaboration with the District Sales Manager to respond to day-to-day sales and strategy direction.
• Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use.
• Maintain product, disease, competitive and market reimbursement knowledge.
• Determine and monitor resource allocation within territory.
• Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified audiences.
• Identify and leverage advocacy channels.
• Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
• Manage travel and promotional budget.
• Fulfill monitoring and reporting requirements including expenses and call reporting.
• Maintain full compliance with laws and Vanda policies.
