Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation seeks an Occupational Therapist to deliver neuro home and community rehabilitation in Maine. You will work 1:1 with patients in their homes, focusing on daily activities, cognition, safety, and participation in life.

You will operate with high autonomy, flexible scheduling, and local coverage, avoiding productivity pressure. Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment plans, re-assessments, and discharge planning, with ongoing collaboration across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted OT license for the practicing state.
• CPR certification is current.
• Minimum of one year of OT work experience.
• Knowledge of neuro rehabilitation techniques for complex diagnoses.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist up to 100 pounds with safety.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess treatment effectiveness and attend team meetings.
• Perform discharge evaluations and recommend home safety measures.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and outcomes.
