Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Massachusetts seeks an Occupational Therapist to join our home and community neuro program, helping patients rebuild independence in daily routines, cognition, safety, and participation in life. You’ll work directly in the patient’s home and community, where recovery happens, not in a clinic.

This role emphasizes autonomy, flexibility, and meaningful outcomes without productivity pressure, with neuro-focused, real-life caseloads and local coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted OT license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; up to 100 pounds with safety procedures.
• Duties require standing/walking for extended periods and other physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans and participate in staffing and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and make home and community safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to enhance patient outcomes.
