Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to work in a home and community neuro program. You will help patients rebuild independence in daily routines, cognition, safety, and participation in life, practicing in patient homes and communities rather than clinics.

This role emphasizes autonomy, flexibility, and meaningful outcomes with 1:1 patient care and no productivity pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Current, unrestricted OT license by state.
• CPR Certification required.
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as an OT.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological diagnoses preferred.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; may lift up to 100 pounds with safety procedures.
• Physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess treatment effectiveness and attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Conduct discharge evaluations and provide home and community safety recommendations and education resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordinated care and improved outcomes.
