Bon Secours Mercy Health in Cincinnati seeks an experienced Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to support fluoroscopic and interventional procedures, with sterile technique and careful documentation of medications and radiation exposure.

Qualifications

• ARRT or CCI radiologic technologist certification required.
• BLS certification preferred; must obtain before direct patient care.
• ACLS and CV/VI ARRT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality diagnostic vascular lab examinations using ultrasound and physiologic testing equipment.
• Prepares patients for procedures and provides instructions to minimize anxiety and ensure cooperation.
• Contacts referring physician for order clarification when needed.
• Utilizes EMR to review patient information, enter preliminary reporting, and document critical findings.
• Completes tasks in a timely manner while adhering to policies and safety standards.
• Demonstrates knowledge of vascular anatomy and exam procedures for accurate results.
• Works within an interdisciplinary team and maintains patient confidentiality.
