Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to assist in fluoroscopic and interventional and neuro-interventional procedures. The role emphasizes sterile technique, medication and radiation documentation, and adherence to applicable laws and facility policies.

The candidate should have ARRT/CCI certification and be prepared for ongoing training with EPIC EHR and PACS systems, with a focus on patient preparation, imaging protocols, and safety standards

Qualifications

• Certification/registration with ARRT or CCI is required.
• BLS is required (AHA) prior to direct patient care; ACLS preferred.
• State licensure preferred where required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed practitioner in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to minimize anxiety.
• Review patient information in the EMR and document findings.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to safety and infection control policies.
