Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Cincinnati is seeking a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to assist in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures, while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety. The role requires ARRT or CCI certification with licensure and BLS requirements.

You will document activities in the EMR, coordinate with physicians, and ensure adherence to safety and infection control policies in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification required or preferred
• BLS required or preferred prior to direct patient care
• ARRT CV or VI specialty certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed practitioner in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to obtain cooperation and minimize anxiety.
• Communicate with referring physician for order clarification if needed.
• Use EMR to review patient information, document findings and report critical results.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality policies.
