Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to assist licensed practitioners in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures, ensuring sterile technique and compliance with regulations. You will prepare patients, explain procedures, and document activities in the EMR, while coordinating with care teams to optimize outcomes.

The role requires ARRT/CCI certification or equivalent, BLS, and relevant radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (preferred)
• BLS certification (required on hire)
• ACLS and CVIR/VI-ARRT (preferred)
• State licensure preferred
• 1 year radiology experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist with fluoroscopic and interventional procedures using sterile technique
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to reduce anxiety
• Review orders and consult with referring physicians as needed
• Document procedures and findings in the EMR and communicate critical results
• Uphold safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality standards
• Work within an interdisciplinary team and participate in care planning
