Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to assist in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures while ensuring sterile technique and patient safety. The role includes preparing patients, documenting activities, and coordinating with referring physicians within a hospital Cath Lab team.

Ideal candidates have ARRT/CCI certification, BLS, and prefer ACLS; EHR and PACS experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• 1 year radiology experience preferred, with surgical CR use preferred.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or CCI certification required or preferred depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Assists licensed practitioner in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures using sterile technique.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to minimize anxiety.
• Review patient information in the EMR and document findings per policy.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality.
• Perform non-invasive vascular exams and correlate results with other procedures.
