Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to support physicians during fluoroscopic and interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique and documenting medications and radiation exposure in accordance with laws and policy.

The role requires ARRT/CCI interventional credentials, BLS preferred, 1 year radiology experience, and strong patient prep and coordination with care teams while upholding safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from ARRT-accredited institute preferred.
• ARRT/CCI interventional certification preferred.
• 1 year radiology experience with surgery exposure preferred.
• State licensure preferred where required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic vascular exams using ultrasound and physiologic testing equipment.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain procedures and provide instructions to minimize anxiety.
• Verify exam orders with referring physicians when needed.
• Utilize EMR to review patient information, enter preliminary findings, and document critical results.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner and maintain safety and confidentiality.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and policy standards; demonstrate interventional proficiency.
