Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to assist in fluoroscopic and neuro-interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique. You will prepare patients, coordinate with physicians, and document findings in the EMR.

The role emphasizes safety, infection control, and teamwork within a mission-driven health system. Qualifications include ARRT/CCI certification, BLS, and an ARRT-accredited associate degree.

Qualifications

• Certification and registration with ARRT or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required.
• BLS is required or preferred upon hire.
• ACLS and CV-IR/VI ARRT certifications are preferred.
• State licensure preferred unless required by state.
• Associate degree from ARRT-accredited program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed practitioner in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures with sterile technique.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide instructions to minimize anxiety.
• Review patient information in the EMR and document findings.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality standards.
• Demonstrate non-invasive vascular exam proficiency and knowledge of vascular anatomy.
