Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Youngstown, OH seeks a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to assist physicians in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique and documenting medications and radiation exposure per policy.

Qualifications

• ARRT or CCI certification required or equivalent.
• BLS Basic Life Support required (preferred at hire).
• ACLS preferred.
• ARRT CV/IR or vascular interventional radiography credentials preferred.
• State licensure preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed practitioner in fluoroscopic, interventional and neuro-interventional procedures with sterile technique.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures and minimize anxiety.
• Review orders with referring physician when clarification is needed.
• Use EMR to review patient data, report preliminarily and document critical findings.
• Complete tasks within clinically appropriate time frames.
• Comply with mission, policies, and health and safety standards.
