Job summary

Mercy Health in Youngstown, Ohio seeks a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to assist licensed practitioners in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures. The role emphasizes sterile technique, patient preparation, and accurate documentation of medications and radiation exposure.

The candidate will use EPIC EHR and PACS for patient information and reporting, while ensuring safety and compliance with governing regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• ARRT or CCI certification required/with state licensure preferred.
• Experience in radiology with interventional suite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist practitioners in fluoroscopic, interventional and neuro-interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to minimize anxiety.
• Document medications and radiation exposure per policy.
• Review patient information in the EMR and document critical findings.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards.
