Job summary

Chicago Public Schools (CPS) seeks a Network School Support Administrator to coordinate initiatives supporting principals, parents, and network leaders. This full-time, exempt role collaborates with Central Office to build efficient systems aligning with CPS policy.

The position requires a valid PEL and PK–12 Principal Endorsement, plus at least 3 years in a district leadership role. On-site work within Chicago is required with strong communication and budget skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) and an Administrative Endorsement / PK–12 Principal Endorsement required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of Resident Principal, Assistant Principal, and/or Principal experience required; other leadership roles may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of district initiatives to support parents, communities, principals, and network leaders.
• Supervise, develop, and manage Network Office staff and dotted line resources, including performance evaluations.
• Oversee non-instructional school operations (budgets, contracts, policy alignment) and ensure CPS policies are followed.
• Escalate and support school auxiliary services (facilities, transportation, IT, etc.) and handle misconduct, incidents, and reports.
• Provide evacuation planning, field trip approvals, and collaboration with CO departments on student achievement and support needs.
• Develop and share clear communications regarding CPS policies and procedures and build external partnerships.
