Job summary

Chicago Public Schools seeks a Network School Support Administrator to coordinate district initiatives, support principals and network leaders, and partner with Central Office to maintain efficient operations aligned with CPS policies. This is a full-time exempt role paid on a salary basis.

Based in Network 7, the Network Chief of Schools will oversee data-driven support, budgeting, and program management, while building collaborative relationships with schools, families, and external partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) and Administrative Endorsement / PK–12 Principal Endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate multiple initiatives to support parents, community stakeholders, principals, and network leaders.
• Partner with Central Office function owners to build and maintain efficient systems of operation.
• Monitor district data to support initiatives and identify areas for Network or CO support.
• Manage day-to-day operations related to non-instructional school operations (budgets, contracts, policy alignment).
• Support and escalate for school auxiliary services (facilities, transportation, IT, etc.).
• Support schools in coordinating evacuation and other drills and emergency plans.
• Collaborate with CO departments on student achievement and school support needs.
• Build and manage partnerships to realize the District’s vision.
• Create clear communications regarding CPS policies and procedures.
