Job summary

Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is hiring a Network School Support Administrator to coordinate district initiatives and partner with Central Office to streamline operations. You will support principals, network leaders, and staff while aligning with CPS policy and procedures.

This is a full‑time on‑site role housed in Network 12 and focuses on district accountability and student learning. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, valid PEL with Admin Endorsement, at least 3 years of leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid PEL and Administrative Endorsement / PK–12 Principal Endorsement required.
• On-site role that requires daily attendance at the assigned work locations.
• Access to reliable transportation to travel within the City of Chicago is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of multiple initiatives designed to support parents, community stakeholders, principals, and network leaders.
• Partner with Central Office function owners to build and maintain efficient systems of operation that serve student learning and district accountability.
• Use district data to monitor and support district initiatives and identify areas needing additional Network or CO support.
• Supervise Network Office staff and dotted line resources, including performance evaluations.
• Manage school budgets, contracts, and policy alignment; address day-to-day CPS policy and procedures.
• Support and escalation for school auxiliary services (facilities, transportation, IT, etc.) and handle misconduct, suspensions, and emergencies.
• Coordinate evacuation drills and emergency plans; collaborate with CO departments to support operations.
• Attend Board Meetings to support families and schools as applicable.
