Job summary

Chicago Public Schools is seeking a Network School Support Administrator to coordinate multiple initiatives supporting parents, principals, and network leaders. The role partners with Central Office to streamline operations and align with CPS policy.

The position is full-time and exempt, based on salary, with regular on-site attendance at assigned Chicago locations and a focus on district-wide operations, budget management, and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) and an Administrative Endorsement / PK–12 Principal Endorsement required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of Resident Principal, Assistant Principal, and/or Principal experience required; Other significant, comparable District leadership roles requiring an Administrative Endorsement and team management may be considered.
• This is an on-site role that requires daily attendance at the assigned work locations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of initiatives designed to support parents, community stakeholders, principals, and network leaders.
• Build and maintain efficient systems of operation that serve student learning and district accountability.
• Support supervision, development, and performance management of Network Office staff and dotted line resources.
• Manage school budgets, contracts, and policy alignment; handle day-to-day CPS policy issues.
• Provide support and escalation for school auxiliary services (facilities, transportation, nutrition, IT).
• Attend Board Meetings to support families and schools as applicable.
