Job summary

LanceSoft, Inc. is seeking a Network Control Specialist L2 for an on-site role in Melbourne, FL. The position supports a 24x7 operations center, monitoring and troubleshooting network issues to minimize disruption and restore services swiftly.

The role involves coordinating with internal teams and telecom partners, handling break/fix actions and change management, and documenting all tickets and requests. Night/weekend shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis to determine a plan of action for restoring customer’s services
• Operate among a myriad of internal teammates and external telecommunication partners to follow through with operational processes and improve restoration times
• Facilitate coordination with our User Community, the Field Services Group, and telecommunication partners for both Break/Fix actions, as well as Change Management activities
• Document Trouble Tickets and Change Requests of all related activities

Job Description

Company is seeking a Network Control Specialist that will monitor, analyze and troubleshoot network problems within an operations center utilizing network management and monitoring tools. This position monitors the alarm conditions on the network to proactively identify and minimize disruption and impact to end users on the network. This position is part of a 24x7 network control environment, working shifts include nights and weekends when needed.
