A leading staffing agency is seeking a NOC technician for their team in Birmingham, Alabama. This role involves onsite monitoring of the data center and communication networks during the second shift (Tuesday through Saturday). The ideal candidate will manage tickets, solve issues for internal customers, and develop new policies and tools while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures. This opportunity is contractual, lasting until 2026, with a pay rate of $20-$21 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Day-to-Day

A client of Insight Global’s is looking for a NOC technician to join their team in Birmingham, Alabama for their second shift: Tuesday through Saturday 3:00pm-11:00pm onsite. This individual will be proactively monitoring the data center and communication networks. You will be responsible for managing tickets and solving issues for internal customers and escalating tickets if needed. Tickets will be resolved according to Standard Operating Procedures as well as developing and maintain new NOC policies and tools. This opportunity is a contract for the duration of 2026 with potential for extension. The pay rate for this position is $20-$21/ hour. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
