Job summary

Technology Partners seeks an Operations Specialist to join the 24×7 Digital Control Center (DCC). You will monitor, troubleshoot, and support critical enterprise infrastructure including network, servers, and security systems.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Monitor infrastructure, applications, and services using enterprise tools.
  • Respond to alerts and incidents within SLAs and document resolutions in ITSM.
  • Perform backups, patching, and health checks of systems.
  • Support firmware upgrades, fiber maintenance, and DR procedures.
  • Triage and troubleshoot network, SCADA, and cellular devices.
  • Coordinate outages and site issues; manage domain certificates for Windows servers.

Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Operations Specialist.

What You Will Be Doing

You will join our 24×7 Digital Control Center (DCC) team as an Operations Specialist. In this role, you will monitor, troubleshoot, and support critical enterprise infrastructure, including network, servers, and security systems. You will partner with team members to respond to alerts, participate in shift rotations, and ensure the seamless operation of vital services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include incident management, operational support, network and server troubleshooting, and supporting disaster recovery efforts. The position is a 2-year assignment, with training on first shift for approximately 4-6 weeks. This is a remote possibility after onboarding, but during the initial training and scheduled shifts, onsite presence at the main office is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor infrastructure, applications, and services using enterprise tools such as Dynatrace, OpsBridge, and Splunk.
  • Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests within defined SLAs and document resolutions in the ITSM platform (ServiceNow).
  • Execute routine operational tasks such as backups, patching, and system health checks.
  • Support high-touch activities like firmware upgrades, fiber maintenance, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Troubleshoot network infrastructure, SCADA systems, and cellular communication devices.
  • Assist with router firmware upgrades, port authentication, and Wi-Fi network support.
  • Monitor and respond to security alerts, support compliance reporting, and assist with malware isolation procedures.
  • Manage physical facility systems like UPS, HVAC, and site alarms, and coordinate fiber outages and site issues.
  • Support virtual environments by triaging Windows server incidents, managing patches, and administering domain certificates.
  • Coordinate and support planned fiber outages, radio network support, and incident response activities.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 3-5+ years of experience in operations support, NOC, or similar technical roles.
  • Strong networking skillset, CCNA certification, and Network+ certification.
  • Experience working in enterprise environments such as financial or utility sectors.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills with network protocols, server environments, and enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a rotating 24×7 shift schedule.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and incident response skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; no college degree required.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Familiarity with AMI, data protection, and security practices.
  • Experience supporting SCADA, RTUs, or telecom infrastructure.
  • Exposure to compliance frameworks and incident management protocols.

Pay: $22.40 – $32.00 /hr
