Job summary

Red River is seeking a Field Installation Engineer in Lincoln, Nebraska. The role focuses on planning, installing, configuring, calibrating, validating, and optimizing network and infrastructure solutions across customer and internal environments.

You will install equipment, analyze requirements, conduct site surveys, troubleshoot issues, and document results while coordinating with project managers and customers to ensure successful deployments and project turnover.

Qualifications

• 3+ years installing, deploying, troubleshooting, or supporting network infrastructure.
• Experience with routing, switching, wireless networks, IP addressing, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret diagrams, floor plans, specifications, and installation docs; propose effective solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and work in dynamic project environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, calibrate, upgrade, and validate network and infrastructure equipment.
• Analyze requirements and develop installation plans based on technical specs.
• Conduct site surveys and determine tools, equipment, and personnel needs.
• Troubleshoot network, wireless, and connectivity issues; identify root causes and implement fixes.
• Perform RF site surveys and evaluate network performance to meet standards.
• Prepare and maintain installation reports, logs, and as-built records.
• Provide customers with technical guidance and training on equipment operation and troubleshooting.
