Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Network Engineer II to provide end-to-end design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise networks across LAN, CAN, WAN and voice/video systems.

The role focuses on translating requirements into telecommunications solutions, supporting modernization efforts, and ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering mission-critical services for national security programs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems/CS with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 12+ years experience in lieu of degree with DoD/IC certifications.
• IAT Level I baseline DoD 8570.01-M.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

• Optimize end-to-end system performance and dataflow, minimizing latency and maximizing throughput.
• Design, configure, deploy, test, maintain, and optimize network devices across LAN/CAN/WAN.
• Implement network solutions including VPNs, firewall contexts, Traffic Shaping, VoIP, IP Encryption, NAT.
• Develop designs for organization’s network and mission architecture.
• Maintain network diagrams and accreditation documentation; align with ISO 9000 and DoD/IC regs.
• Coordinate network conversions and cutovers; support incidents across sites.
• Apply systems engineering across lifecycle per ISO/IEC 15288.
