Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Tier III O&M engineer to support WAN and LAN networks, resolving incidents and implementing routing and firewall changes. The role requires expert knowledge in OSPF, BGP, VRF, MPLS, and high-level problem solving across data communications systems.

The engineer will monitor performance, test hardware and software, review requests, and coordinate with implementation teams to optimize network configurations and site topologies. U.S. government work and security clearances apply.

Qualifications

• 16 years of experience in DoD/network engineering or equivalent.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting boundary protection technologies.
• Strong knowledge of OSPF,BGP,VRF,MPLS and VPNs.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier III O&M support for WAN/LAN networks and incident resolution.
• Configure and test network hardware and software.
• Assess user requests and advise on practical technical approaches to meet requirements.
