Job summary

Leidos seeks an Implementations Network Engineer to support DISA-driven networks, overseeing installation, testing, configuration, and activation across DoD environments. You will coordinate ITA, input data, and project planning to ensure compliant deployments.

Candidate will work with Cisco/Juniper gear, BGP/OSPF, and must hold an active Secret clearance plus DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification. Team collaboration is essential to meet evolving requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires BS degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s with less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret security clearance is required.
• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer ITA (Initial Test & Acceptance) and data input for new network activations.
• Configure and maintain DISA’s out-of-band management network with Cisco/Juniper devices.
• Upgrade software on Cisco and Juniper devices to baseline levels.
• Create/update project planning docs for IP addressing schemes and port assignments.
• Analyze systems requirements with users to determine hardware/software needs.
• Ensure POC, location, and interface data are correct per requirements.
• Verify correct points of contact for circuit paths traversed.
• Engage DISA project managers to resolve unclear requirements.
• Drive stakeholder approvals to maintain service progress.
