Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Principal Network Engineer to lead design, integration, and sustainment of complex enterprise and mission networks within the Intelligence Sector's CABA. You will translate mission requirements into secure, high-performing network solutions across LAN, CAN, WAN, and telecom environments.

The role emphasizes advanced diagnostics, documentation, accreditation artifacts, and cross-team collaboration in DoD/IC contexts.

Qualifications

Master's or Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline with extensive experience.
IAT Level I certification per DoD 8570.01-M.
Proven track record designing, implementing, and maintaining complex networks.
Experience troubleshooting advanced network performance and integration issues.
Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

Optimize end-to-end system performance and dataflow to minimize latency.
Design, integrate, configure, deploy, test and maintain network devices across LAN/CAN/WAN.
Implement network solutions including load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, NAT, IP encryption.
Contribute to network/mission architecture aligned with DoD/IC requirements.
Maintain documentation, diagrams, and accreditation artifacts; ensure ISO 9000 and DoD/IC compliance.
Collaborate with teams on integrations and conversions; support on-call rotations.
