Job summary

Leidos Inc. seeks a Network Engineer to support CAN/LAN and evolving enterprise networks within its Digital Modernization Sector. The role focuses on design, engineering, and transition for global services, delivering modern, secure network solutions for mission-critical environments.

The ideal candidate has TS/SCI with poly and hands-on experience in routing, switching, and MPLS WANs, with a track record of implementing DISA STIGs and working in a production network setting.

Qualifications

• Clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Equivalency: 10 years of experience based on education and experience per DoD guidelines.
• Must meet DoD 8140 IAT Level 2.
• Experience in production network design/operations for Cisco/Brocade/Juniper.

Responsibilities

• Interpret requirements and document designs with diagrams, BOMs, cabling sheets and configurations.
• Use a private test lab to evaluate new technologies and test changes in production networks.
• Schedule maintenance windows with minimal impact on critical data flows.
• Provide technical expertise to Operations; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Develop secure designs aligning with DISA STIGs and obtain ATO for new devices.
• Supervise network support specialists to plan and implement services.
• Improve design processes and documentation for the team.
• Opportunity to learn MPLS WANs beyond CAN/LAN.
