M.C. Dean is seeking a Network Engineer 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. The role focuses on designing, engineering, integrating and maintaining cyber-physical networks for federal, local and commercial customers.

Active DoD SECRET Clearance is REQUIRED and a BS in a related field is expected. Responsibilities include designing architectures, testing hardware/software, configuring security measures, and supporting a 24/7 on-call schedule across high-growth markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline and 2+ years of progressive experience.

Responsibilities

• Survey reports and present results to senior staff.
• Review existing network designs and onsite conditions.
• Develop high level network architectures and requirements docs.
• Perform network modelling and testing of designs.
• Install, configure, and maintain network architectures and devices.
• Assist in security architecture and vendor hardening guidelines.
• Develop automation scripts for zero-touch deployment.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support as needed.
• Document procedures and conduct QA/QC on designs.
• Prepare test plans and commissioning procedures.
