Job summary

Vultr is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our global Technical Support team. You will provide advanced technical support for Vultr’s products and infrastructure, serving as an escalation point for complex issues and assisting both customers and internal teams in diagnosing and resolving platform-related problems.

The role requires 3+ years in enterprise technical support, strong Linux experience, and solid networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in enterprise technical support or similar role.
• Strong experience with Linux systems and command-line troubleshooting.
• Experience diagnosing and supporting cloud/infrastructure services.
• Excellent communication under pressure and ability to work in a 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical guidance on Vultr products.
• Act as first responder to platform alerts and incidents, perform troubleshooting.
• Lead incident analysis and root-cause investigations with preventative recommendations.
• Coordinate with sysadmin, engineering, networking, and other teams to resolve outages.
• Create and maintain internal docs, knowledge base, and support procedures.
• Support enterprise customer environments focusing on performance and availability.
