Job summary
Vultr is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our global Technical Support team, providing advanced technical support for Vultr’s products and infrastructure, serving as an escalation point for complex issues and supporting both customers and internal teams in diagnosing and resolving platform‑related problems.

Qualifications
- 3+ years in enterprise technical support or similar advanced role.
- Strong experience with Linux systems and command-line tools.
- Experience with enterprise networking concepts for diagnosing platform issues.
- Excellent customer service and ability to communicate under pressure.
- Ability to work independently in a 24/7 operations environment and manage shifting priorities.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide guidance on Vultr products and services, including complex issues.
- Act as a first responder to platform alerts, assess impact, troubleshoot, and escalate as needed.
- Lead incident analysis, perform root cause investigations, and recommend preventive actions.
- Coordinate with system administration, engineering, networking, and other teams to resolve outages.
- Create and maintain internal docs, knowledge base articles, and support procedures.
- Support enterprise customer environments in cloud infrastructure contexts.
- Serve as escalation point for Technical Support Specialists and advise on resolution strategies.
- Participate in a 24/7 team-based operations environment with scheduled shifts.
