Job summary
Vultr is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our global team. You will provide advanced technical support for Vultr’s cloud products and infrastructure, serving as an escalation point for complex issues and guiding both customers and internal teams in diagnosing and resolving platform-related problems.
This role requires 3+ years in enterprise technical support, strong Linux skills, and experience with enterprise networking.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Linux command-line tools and system navigation.
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts.
- Customer-focused with ability to communicate under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical guidance on Vultr products and services.
- Act as first responder to platform alerts and incidents and escalate as needed.
- Lead incident analysis, root-cause investigations, and preventive recommendations.
- Coordinate with engineering, systems, and network teams to resolve problems.
- Create and maintain internal documentation and support procedures.
- Support enterprise customer environments and diagnose performance issues.
- Serve as an escalation resource for Technical Support Specialists.
