Job summary

AES Clean Energy is seeking a NERC Operations Team Leader to act as SME for NERC standards across all O&M activities. You will guide teams in interpreting NERC O&P requirements and ensure compliance, while leading audits and documentation efforts.

This leadership role supports a growing renewable portfolio and signals a strong commitment to reliability across AES assets. As a people leader, you will mentor the NERC Operations team, advance compliance practices, and coordinate with engineering,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (B.S. or equivalent).
• 5+ years in the electric power industry focusing on operations, maintenance, or NERC compliance (8+ years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of NERC Reliability standards and related regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day NERC compliance execution for all AES Clean Energy sites.
• Translate NERC requirements into executable processes and maintenance programs.
• Lead audits, evidence management, and documentation for compliance.
• Mentor the NERC Operations team and drive continuous improvement.
