Job summary

AES Clean Energy, a leading independent power producer, seeks a NERC Operations Senior Analyst to support O&P compliance programs and ensure adherence to NERC standards. Reporting to the NERC Operations Team Leader, you will monitor, gather evidence, and facilitate audits across operations, maintenance, and IT interfaces.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with O&M, Engineering, Regulatory, and IT/OT teams, develop compliant processes, and help embed reliability best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field is required.
• 3–7+ years of experience in Inverter-Based Resource operations, maintenance, testing, or related fields.
• Experience implementing NERC standards such as FAC-008, EOP-012, PRC-004/005/028/029/030.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• O&P implementation: support compliance processes for NERC standards and coordinate with field operations.
• Evidence gathering & audit support: collect and provide compliance evidence and support audits.
• Regulatory updates & analysis: monitor NERC standards and regional requirements, advise on changes.
• Cross-functional coordination: work with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Regulatory, IT/OT to embed compliance.
• Procedure training & implementation: ensure team understands and follows NERC procedures.
• Issue management & continuous improvement: identify reliability risks and improve compliance processes.
