Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Outpatient RN CAP 1 to join the Clinical Advancement Program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, including assessment, planning, and evaluation.

In this role, you will participate in the health care team, teach and lead care delivery, and support quality improvement activities within the facility. CAP requirements to advance will be completed as directed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Must meet state practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential functions under supervision and guidance of Nursing leadership.
• Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis and update plan of care.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and treatment modalities.
• Deliver safe and effective hemodialysis therapy with the care team.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Assist with emergency responses as needed.
• Support training and orientation of new staff.
