Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse to join the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) as an RN CAP 1. You will coordinate care, perform assessments, and educate patients and families in the outpatient setting within the dialysis unit.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease team, you will participate in teaching, quality improvement, and collaborative practice while advancing CAP requirements. Must meet nursing licensure and CPR/BLS standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR/BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state employed.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and document care plans and progress.
• Coordinate patient care and educate patients and families.
• Administer medications per approved protocols and document effectiveness.
• Provide safe hemodialysis therapy under supervision and adjust as needed.
• Lead and supervise staff as Nurse in Charge when assigned.
