Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse to join the Outpatient RN CAP 1, an entry designation into the Clinical Advancement Program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care, assess and plan care, and may delegate tasks to RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians within the ESKD team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS certification.
• Entry level RN with <2 years nephrology nursing experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients.
• Document and adjust care plans based on data collection during dialysis.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and self-care.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document responses.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team and participate in quality-improvement activities.
