Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP1 track within the Clinical Advancement Program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, including planning, intervention, and evaluation, under supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure to practice nursing.
• CPR BLS certification required.
• Must meet state practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential nursing functions under supervision and guidance.
• Collect and analyze patient data before, during, and after hemodialysis.
• Educate patients and families about learning needs and care plans.
• Deliver safe hemodialysis therapy under team supervision.
• Administer medications per protocol and document effectiveness.
• Assist with emergency response measures as needed.
• Support staff training and orientation.
• Ensure proper lab collection and Processing and reschedule missing labs.
• Document plans of care and coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
