Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program in a nephrology setting. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care, assess patients, plan interventions, and evaluate outcomes within the dialysis team.

Responsibilities include data collection, treatment plan adjustments, patient/family education, medications administration, and emergency response as needed. CAP requirements to advance apply to this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• CPR BLS certification.
• RN with <2 years of nephrology nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and coordinates patient care per physician orders.
• Monitors and documents patient data pre-, during-, post-hemodialysis.
• Educates patients and families about care plans and treatments.
• Administers medications as prescribed or per protocol.
• Collaborates with care team to ensure safe hemodialysis delivery.
