Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to conduct infant hearing screens at hospital locations. The role includes on-the-job training and certification accredited by the American Academy of Audiology, with emphasis on early detection and timely intervention.

Responsibilities include coordinating with hospital staff, educating families, and ensuring accurate data entry and reporting. This is an on-site, entry-level healthcare position requiring weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Perform hearing screens and educate parents on the relevance of early intervention.
• Comply with all policies and procedures including PPE, vaccinations, and safety protocols.
• Evaluate each patient for screen readiness prior to testing.
• Collect data and demographics; perform screens and document results for each baby.
• Upload screen results and reconcile shift statistics by end of shift.
