Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform newborn hearing screens at hospital locations and provide education to families on the importance of early detection and intervention.

This entry-level role requires your ability to work on-site, collaborate with hospital staff, and maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting of results. Training and annual certification are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens and educate parents on the relevance of screens.
• Ensure data/demographics are collected for each baby and screens are documented.
• Complete screen results and billing/state reporting by end of each shift.
