Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform on-site newborn hearing screens in hospital locations. You will educate parents, ensure accurate data collection, and complete reporting by the end of each shift.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. On-the-job training and annual American Academy of Audiology certification are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens in hospital settings.
• Educate parents on the importance of screening and early intervention.
• Ensure accurate data collection and documentation for each baby.
• Schedule outpatient appointments for refer babies when needed.
• Maintain compliance with PPE, vaccinations, and hospital policies.
• Upload screen results and complete state reporting by end of shift.
