Job summary

Dinges Fire Company is seeking commission-based sales professionals to plan and carry out sales activities for fire service equipment and related services. The role targets building relationships with Fire and EMT decision-makers in designated territories and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.

All salespersons operate as 1099 independent contractors with uncapped commission based on gross profit, offering a flexible income model and opportunities to grow within the territory and

Qualifications

• Experience in selling fire service products or similar equipment is preferred.
• Ability to build relationships with Fire and EMT decision-makers.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and basic business concepts.

Responsibilities

• prepare sales action plans and strategies
• schedule sales activity
• make sales calls to new and existing customers
• develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
• negotiate with clients
• develop sales proposals
• respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
• ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
• follow up on sales activity
• monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
• participate in sales events and training
