Job summary

TEAM Industrial Services is seeking an entry-level NDT Assistant to support certified technicians in nondestructive testing at client sites. This role provides exposure to UT, MT, PT, RT inspections and hands-on experience with testing equipment in diverse industrial settings.

You will assist with setup, materials, and safety, while contributing to field reports and site safety. The position offers training, travel, and opportunities to grow into higher inspection or leadership roles within

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening & background check.
• Must obtain TWIC, DISA or other site access credentials.
• Willingness to travel to various environments including Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Power, and Aerospace.
• Willingness to work extended shifts, weekends, and alternate schedules.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; work at heights and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified NDT technicians in setting up and performing inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT, etc.) per procedures.
• Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment for testing.
• Support radiation safety practices and secure work areas for radiographic testing (where applicable).
• Transport equipment to and from job sites, maintaining safe handling and inventory control.
• Ensure all tools and work areas are cleaned and maintained.
• Complete field reports, timesheets, and other documentation as directed.
• Follow safety rules, client site protocols, and TEAM's Life Critical Expectations.
• Perform general labor duties related to rigging, lifting, and access equipment setup.
