Job summary

Team Industrial Services is seeking an entry-level NDT Assistant to support certified technicians in nondestructive testing, traveling to client sites and locations. The role is a foundational step toward a career in asset integrity and inspection, emphasizing safety, support, and operational excellence.

The position offers growth into other inspection or technical services, with opportunities for training and advancement within TEAM’s safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with basic NDT methods and terminology.
• Current safety certifications (e.g., TWIC, OSHA 10/30) are preferred or required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified NDT technicians in setting up and performing inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT, etc.) per procedures.
• Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment for testing assignments.
• Support radiation safety practices and secure work areas for radiographic testing where applicable.
• Transport equipment to and from job sites with safe handling and inventory control.
• Ensure tools and work areas are cleaned and maintained.
• Complete field reports, timesheets, and other documentation as directed.
• Follow all safety rules, client site protocols, and TEAM's Life Critical Expectations.
• Perform general labor duties related to rigging, lifting, and access equipment setup.
