Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking an entry-level NDT Assistant to support certified technicians in nondestructive testing at client sites nationwide. You will help set up inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT) and handle materials, tools, and safety procedures.

This role offers on-site testing, travel, and training opportunities in asset integrity across industries. A strong safety mindset, willingness to travel, and the ability to pass pre-employment checks are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
• Must obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other site access credentials.
• Willingness to travel and work in varied environments typically found in Oil and Gas, Nuclear, Power, Municipality, Aerospace, and similar settings.
• Willingness to work extended shifts, weekends, and alternate schedules.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces with a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified NDT technicians in setting up and performing inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT, etc.).
• Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment for testing assignments.
• Support radiation safety practices and secure work areas for radiographic testing where applicable.
• Transport equipment to and from job sites with safe handling and inventory control.
• Complete field reports and timesheets and other required documentation.
• Follow safety rules, client site protocols, and TEAM's Life Critical Expectations.
• Perform general labor duties related to rigging, lifting and access equipment setup.
