Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking an entry-level NDT Assistant to support certified technicians across client sites, contributing to asset integrity and safety in a fast-paced testing environment.

You will assist with UT, MT, PT, RT inspections, prepare equipment, comply with safety protocols, and help maintain documentation. This role offers training, travel opportunities, and a pathway into more advanced inspection or technical positions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
• Must obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other site access credentials.
• Willingness to travel and work in Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Power, Municipality, Aerospace, and related environments.
• Willingness to work extended shifts, weekends, and alternate schedules.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environments.
• Strong safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified NDT technicians in setting up and performing inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT, etc.) according to procedures.
• Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment for testing assignments.
• Support radiation safety practices and help secure work areas for radiographic testing (where applicable).
• Transport equipment to and from job sites, maintaining safe handling and inventory control.
• Ensure all tools and work areas are cleaned and maintained.
• Complete field reports, timesheets, and other documentation as directed.
• Follow all safety rules, client site protocols, and TEAM's Life Critical Expectations.
• Perform general labor duties related to rigging, lifting, and access equipment setup.
