Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Assistant Technician to support certified NDT technicians in nondestructive testing at client sites.

This apprenticeship-focused role offers hands-on training in UT, MT, PT, RT and related methods, with emphasis on safety, equipment handling, and accurate documentation. Based in Corpus Christi, TX, the position involves travel to multiple locations, field work in plant environments, and opportunities for growth into advanced inspection roles or project

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen.
• Willingness to travel and work at various sites.
• TWIC/DISA or site access credentials required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified NDT technicians in setting up and performing inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT, etc.).
• Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment for testing assignments.
• Support radiation safety practices and help secure work areas for radiographic testing where applicable.
• Transport equipment to and from job sites and maintain inventory control.
• Complete field reports, timesheets, and other documentation as directed.
• Follow all safety rules, site protocols, and TEAM's Life Critical Expectations.
• Perform general labor duties related to rigging, lifting, and access equipment setup.
