Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a Project Manager to lead NCDOT roadway, bridge and utility programs across central North Carolina. You will own the project from preconstruction through closeout, managing budgets, schedules, safety and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as PM of record on heavy civil projects, with documented NCDOT experience. Relocation to central NC is welcome and a strong benefits package is offered.

Formación

• 5+ years as the Project Manager of record on heavy civil, highway, bridge or utility work.
• Documented NCDOT project experience as the PM is required; name the jobs.
• End-to-end project delivery; not a junior role.
• Contractor-side background required; design/inspection unlikely fits.
• Strong cost control, scheduling, change orders and field-team management.
• Experience with Vista and HCSS HeavyJob preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent.
• OSHA 30 is a plus.
• Central NC candidates preferred; relocation OK.

Responsabilidades

• Run NCDOT roadway, bridge and utility projects as the PM of record, from preconstruction through closeout.
• Own the budget, schedule, cost reports, forecasting and margin on every job you run.
• Submit accurate cost and income projections and act on variances early.
• Lead superintendents, field engineers and subcontractors to hit production, quality and safety.
• Serve as the main contact for NCDOT, owners, engineers, inspectors and vendors.
• Issue subcontracts and purchase orders and manage subcontractor performance.
• Handle change orders, pay estimates, submittals, claims and contract documentation.
• Run weekly project meetings on schedule and cost, and report performance to leadership.
• Work with estimating on bids and the handoff so the job starts right.
• Keep a strong safety culture on every site.
