Job summary

HDR is seeking a Navy Programs Director to lead strategic direction and growth for Navy Programs across the United States. The role involves collaborating with Federal leaders and sales teams to pursue opportunities, win contracts, and expand markets.

You will oversee planning and execution across disciplines such as management, cost control, scheduling, procurement, and governance, while maintaining client relationships and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/architecture/planning or science; master’s preferred.
• Executive-level leadership experience in large, complex orgs.
• Experience in strategic planning and program management.
• Strong financial interpretation of business data.
• Committed to HDR values and employee ownership culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead Navy (including Marine Corps) Programs strategic direction and visioning.
• Support sales teams to achieve Navy-related goals.
• Develop projects, markets, budgets, staffing, and marketing materials.
• Plan and monitor program execution across multiple disciplines.
• Coordinate with Federal Regional Directors and client teams.
• Prepare annual budgets and monitor performance for Navy Programs.
